Diane Kaylor begins each design by creating a variety of decorative papers, which she hand-prints using original stencils and abstract painting techniques. Thousands of individual pieces are then carefully cut and assembled to complete each richly layered mixed-media collage.

Once finished, the original artwork is scanned and reproduced on steel using dye-sublimation printing. This process preserves the color, texture, and character of Kaylor’s handmade compositions while transforming them into durable, interactive magnets that can be arranged and displayed in countless ways.
