At Spa Fine Art, we stand behind every work we represent and want you to feel confident in your purchase. Because fine art is personal and often one-of-a-kind, we encourage clients to contact us before purchasing with any questions. We are happy to provide additional photos, short videos, digital room mockups, or virtual viewings upon request.

Local Artwork Approval

For local clients, Spa Fine Art may offer select original artwork on approval prior to purchase, including a 24-hour in-home trial when appropriate. This allows clients to view the artwork in their space before making a final decision.

If a local purchase is made without an in-person viewing or approval period, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery or pickup if there is a concern. Any exchange, gallery credit, or return consideration is handled on a case-by-case basis and is not guaranteed.

Original Artwork: U.S. Online Purchases

Returns may be considered for original artwork purchased online and delivered within the United States, provided Spa Fine Art is notified within 48 hours of delivery. The artwork must be securely packed, fully insured, and returned at the client’s expense. Spa Fine Art documents the condition of all artwork prior to shipment, and any returned work must arrive in the same condition in which it was received.

Once the artwork has been received and inspected, an approved refund may be issued, less the original shipping cost and any related handling or processing fees.

International Online Purchases

For original artwork purchased online and delivered outside the United States, return requests must be made within 14 days of delivery, or within any longer period required by applicable law.

All international returns must be authorized by Spa Fine Art before shipment. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the client is responsible for return shipping, professional packing or crating, insurance, customs documentation, brokerage fees, and any other costs associated with returning the artwork. The artwork must be returned fully insured and must arrive in the same condition in which it was received.

Original shipping charges and related shipping or handling costs are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Any duties, taxes, VAT, GST, customs charges, or other fees paid directly to government authorities or third parties are not refundable by Spa Fine Art.

Refunds will be processed after the returned artwork has been received and inspected, subject to any requirements of applicable law.

International customers may have additional statutory cancellation or return rights based on their country of residence. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

Original Artwork: In-Store Purchases

Spa Fine Art offers expert art advisory and complimentary services including consultation, digital room mockups, virtual previews, and artwork on approval for select local clients. Because these services allow clients to view, consider, and feel confident in their selection prior to purchase, all in-store purchases are final sale.

Prints, Limited Editions & Made-to-Order Items

All prints, limited editions, custom-framed pieces, special orders, and made-to-order items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

These works are often produced, prepared, framed, or customized specifically for each client.

Commissions & Custom Requests

Commissioned artwork, custom framing, special orders, and any artwork altered or customized at the client’s request are final sale and non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Consigned & Private Collection Works

Works acquired from private collections or offered on consignment are final sale, except where otherwise required by applicable law. Any available condition information will be noted to the best of our ability before purchase.

Damaged Shipments

If an artwork arrives damaged or there is an issue with your order, please contact Spa Fine Art within 48 hours of delivery so we can promptly review the matter and assist with any carrier or insurance claim.

Please retain all original packaging and provide photographs of both the artwork and packaging. This process is separate from a standard return and does not limit any consumer rights that may apply under applicable law.
