Cali is closely connected to the Urban Sketchers community and has been active with groups such as Orlando Urban Sketchers, where she has participated in location-based drawing meetups and community sketching events for years. This on-site habit is central to her process: she builds a scene from the essential structure first, then lets selective color and simplified shapes carry the moment.
