Lisa Palombo is a contemporary American Impressionist known for florals, still lifes, and landscapes with expressive brushwork and bold color structure. She began formal art study early, spending summers at the Rhode Island School of Design before later graduating from RISD with honors. She also completed graduate-level fine art studies through the European Honors Program in Rome, building a foundation that combines classical training with a modern, color-forward approach.Palombo’s paintings are recognized for confident palette choices and a strong sense of light and natural form, with compositions that feel energetic without becoming chaotic. Beyond the studio, she has been active as a writer and speaker, and her work has appeared widely in publishing and media, including more than forty book covers (with multiple New York Times bestsellers) as well as features in national magazines and film.
