Bradley Chance Hays is an American artist and professional tie-down roper known for horse paintings that feel lived-in, not staged. As a kid he drew constantly, and he was roping early, a dual track that never really separated. That foundation shaped the way he works today: he paints horses the way someone paints what they know from the inside, with the arena, ranch life, and the rhythms of competition as the backdrop. Hays carried both pursuits into adulthood, competing through college rodeo and continuing formal study in art while staying active in the sport.
