Martha Winsten is a third-generation American artist known for portraits of animals and people, with a strong collector base in the equestrian community. Born in New York City and raised partly in Westport, Connecticut, she developed an early foundation in drawing and observation and pursued extensive study through institutions including the Art Students League, School of Visual Arts, Bard College, and Skidmore College.
