Carol C. Young is an American landscape painter working in acrylic and oil whose work centers on rural structures, barns, farmhouses, and outbuildings rendered with strong value design and clear geometry. She paints both en plein air and in the studio, using direct observation to lock in light patterns and then refining composition and edges so the structure reads cleanly. Her paintings lean into sunlight, shadow, and shape more than fine detail, which gives the work its contemporary, graphic strength.

Young studied fine art at the College of New Rochelle and has earned multiple awards, including Best in Show at the Pequot Library Art Show and top honors at the Rowayton Arts Center.
