Darrell Bush is an American painter known for luminous landscapes, seascapes, wildlife, and still life, unified by a strong sense of storytelling through light. He earned a BFA from Northern Illinois University and began his professional path in illustration before shifting into a full-time painting career. 

His career gained major momentum after winning two national stamp competitions for Minnesota and Idaho, and his work has since been widely published and collected. Bush’s paintings are valued for warmth, atmosphere, and the calm drama created by light, weather, and memory.
