Vadim Klevenskiy
Vadim Klevenskiy (born 1964 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan) is an oil painter whose work centers on the sea, shoreline, and moving water. He pursued formal training focused on both fine art and visual design, earning degrees in teaching drawing and painting and in art design for feature films and television through Moscow-based study. After his education, he worked in film and gallery contexts in the former Soviet region, including Moldova-Film and gallery work in Russia.

In 2002, Klevenskiy moved to South Florida, where the Atlantic Ocean became the primary subject of his studio practice. He has described a lifelong interest in different seas, but credits the Atlantic with pushing his work into a sustained series, built from years of photographing and sketching the coast in varied light and weather. Later moves broadened the imagery to include rocks, stones, and streams alongside the ocean. Today his paintings translate that field study into oil-on-canvas works that emphasize clarity, surface, and the specific character of water in motion.
