Todd Warren

Todd Warren began painting at 13, when he painted his first power boat in his father’s body shop, an experience that pulled him into the custom paint world of art and design. From there, he carried his visual style into racing culture, applying his work to boats, motorcycles, and helmets, and developing a craft rooted in finish, surface, and control of color.

Today, Warren brings those same techniques into studio work, creating pieces built through layered color on wood, plexiglass, and stainless steel. The materials are part of the point: his surfaces react to changing light, and the depth of the layers becomes most apparent in person, especially under daylight. Warren’s work sits at the intersection of industrial material and painterly finish, with an emphasis on impact, clarity, and the physical presence of the object. ×
